the password bank is blocking the access to pages in firefox where the .htaccess login popup is used. the login popup dissapears and a OK button with a green border is shown, I can see in the taskbar that it is the Acer Bio-Protection fingerprint solution password bank that popups up.
if I hit the OK button it pops up again and if I keep clicking it, it will eventually say that the TPM password was entered wrong too many times and I need to reboot?
I can login by switching back to firefox with alt-tab and enter 2-3 letters of the username or password before the ok button pops up in front again.

Hello,
I have the same issue with my ACER with Bio-protection, running Vista Business and working with Mozilla Thunderbird. Do you already have a solution:?
If so, i really would like to know how to get rid of this.
